The rowing team competed in the NJIRC 2024 and gave a great account for themselves, with some highlighted results below:

James Gibson won bronze in the Year 13 2000m event with a time of 6:38.5, an incredible effort. James Clarke and Jake Andrews also competed, finishing 11th and 24th out of 32.

Immie Spink finished 7th out of 29 in the Year 12 event with a time of 8:19.3

Tom McNair finished 26th out of 67 in the Year 11 event, scoring a total of 1626m in 6 minutes.

Charlie Quinnell, Oliver Roberts, Robbie Nixon and Toby Richell all competed in the boys Year 10 competition. Charlie and Oliver placed 1st and 2nd in their race, finishing 12th and 22nd overall. Robbie and Toby also did great, finishing 54th and 63rd out of 180 students.

Ella Pollock, Izzy Kypri and Matilda Spink and competed in the Year 10 girls competition, finishing 43rd, 48th and 67th out of 175 students.

Matthew Mills and David Brocklebank competed in the Year 9 competition and gave a good account of themselves, finishing 59th and 192 out of 270 students.

Amber Wright rowed brilliantly in the Year 9 girls competition, finishing 2nd in her race and 20th overall. Sophia McNair came 41st and Flo Lewis 95th out of 293 students.

Oscar Polley and Ethan Cairns finished joint 50th in the Year 8 boys competition out of 290 students, Adam Cairns (95th), Callum Hoar (149th), Ruben Toren (196th) and Lucas Wallace (228th) also competed.

Mia Bray did really well, finishing 20th out of 293 girls in the Year 8 competition.

Our relay teams gave a great account for themselves, showing fantastic effort and team work.

A senior boys team (James Gibson, James Clarke, Jake Andrews and Tom McNair) and junior girls team (Mia Bray, Amber Wright, Flo Lewis and Sophia McNair) did fantastic in their relays, finishing inside the top 10 (boys - 6th, girls 5th).
