Match Report
Gordon's School Mixed-U18A vs  RWHS Services Jumping
On: Saturday, 03 Jul 2021
Venue: Away

The equestrian team had an absolutely fabulous day at Windsor on Saturday 3rd July..

The services jumping competition was split into 2 sections military working horses and non working horses. We were obviously in the non military working horse The Queen's Plate. There were 14 teams (2 other schools CCF Wellington and Kimbolton along side serving forces members from Army, Navy and RAF on their own horses). The first round Amy and Molly jumped clear and Sophie had one pole down for 4 faults. This put us in 3rd team position. The top 6 teams go through to the 2 phase. We were the only School to go through. We unanimously chose Molly for the jump off hoping for a clear and fast. She did not disappoint. We finished in 4th position based on time - less than 3 seconds difference. An amazing result! Also, if you put all 21 teams together we still finished 4th overall.

The team looked so smart and were a credit to themselves and Gordon's. They paraded in front of the Queen and Molly can now say she has jumped in front of the Queen and a very large crowd!

I am so proud of the riders and their achievements this year. This result was truly deserved and was the icing on the cake for us all.
